Creekside Park is a 3.17-acre neighborhood park located at the far north edge of Eugene’s Cal Young neighborhood, one block west of Gilham Road, off Crimson.

The City of Eugene Parks and Open Space Division purchased the property in 2000, and together with community members, developed the park under budget in 2012. The project design responded to the need to protect the adjacent Goal 5 riparian zone and drainage way/seasonal creek which traverses the site, and includes an enhanced natural area meadow. The paved path from the northeast corner to the southwest corner of the park now provides an accessible bike and pedestrian connection between two neighborhoods. There are 1.1 acres of lawn and irrigated turf for un-programmed field activities.

The playground area is primarily designed for 5–12 year olds, and cutting edge playground structures represent the latest innovation in play equipment design. The Oodle Swing can carry bunches of kids at the same time, and the play structure has unique elements for kids to engage their whole body and brain at the same time. The entirely separated sand and water play area includes water play troughs and a pump to provide hours of fun for mess-loving kids.
